  1. the precipitate is iron(III) hydroxide.


  2. In the solubility table, anything containing Lithium, Sodium, Potassium, NH4+, NO3-, C2H3O2- does NOT form a precipitate.

    FeCl3 + KOH --> FeOH + KCl ( you do the stoichiometry)

    Things that contain OH- are INSOLUBLE unless in contact any of the things mentioned above. Therefore, FeOH is probably the precipitate.
