wat is it called its a kind of cable that hooks from your computer to your tv and the tv shows wats on the computer screen.

there is no one cable for this

you can use any kind of video cable

because it depend on what output ur graphics card have

and what input ur tv have

it could be composite (single cable, yellow RCA plug)

s video (single cable round plug with like 7 pins in it)

scart (single cable, wide plug with many pins)

component (3 cables, same type of cables and connector as composite, but they are usualy red green and blue plugs, but you can use the yellow/white/red AV cable if u want, they are the same)

VGA (the standard type of analog PC monitor connection, trapezium shape with 15 pins)

DVI (newer digital PC monitor connection, single cable with wide rectangle plug with groups of 9 pins)

HDMI (newest digital video connection, single cable with thin, almost USB-like plug)
