Wat is motivation?how 2 motivate my staff,esp sales staff?

I used to be a sales person myself. 1st you must really get the right person to work. 2ndly is money factor. People who work as sales personnel is because of M.O.N.E.Y~ Show them some workable commission scheme and a little bit of good company welfare will helps. Support them with transport/handphone allowance will be great to lessen their problems as less problem = happier in work = scare to leave the job = work harder!! hehe.. a little bit of stress would be good. Like e.g: Sales meeting, quoting targets every mthly and weekly will helps greatly. additional incentives will drive them to max~ Sometimes have to spend some quality time get together as... if you are in good relation with your staff they will more likely BECAUSE OF YOU produce RESULTS FOR YOU. =D

The first step to motivation is to have clear concise and specific goals. For your sales staff, how much do they need to sell to achieve their own personal goals. I would also encourage you read The Psychology of Selling by Brian Tracy and to take a couse in NLP-Neuro Linguistic Programming.  Good Luck!
