Wat is the best method of catching bait fish with a minnow trap or wat?

like shiners or suckers i dont matter like wat bait or where like rapids or deeps spot??/ i might depend on the creek though so

you will find the bait where the birds are crashing the water. to get them to you after you get to them use this trick.

#103 use oatmeal soaked in water and make large spitballs and throw them in the water. I keep mine in a one gallon milki jug and just pour it out over the side. It looks gross but as the slop trails down into the water the bait comes around and feeds on it.

you know that hot tub nets thats what i use and my cousin and i caught enogh minnows to last us like 50 fishing days

I think you need a cast net.  Thats what we use.
