Wat is the best thing?

ok im 10 and i have to get something for my best friend ariel. witch is also 10 but turning 11.... she said anything but a barbie.. my first i dea is a fish or a small pet... thats my first idea what else should i get her besides any doll... help any ideas i only have 1 more night

Sorry, but giving money is thoughtless. Give her a craft kit that makes jewelry, or some nice posters for her room, or some lip gloss and nail polish, cell phone charm or key chain, nice smelly stuff, a book or magazine, a homemade gift like a bulletin board, or jewelry box, a t-shirt that you painted a picture or message on, tickets to a movie you would both like to see,funky jewelry, a cute purse, maybe make her a batch of her favorite cookies, or maybe a diary with a really cute pen to write with. can she have pets? or is she allergic to any. What about a giant teddy bear or some jewelry. If she's into art, what about a set that deals with paints and brushes or pencils- stuff she might want to do like sketch.

a fish is a good idear. no other pets without asking her mom first. a nice  locket on a chain would be good with both of your pictures in it. if your friendship last a long time , she will treasure this.
