Graffiti is a crime in my town.  It's defacing someone else's property, art or not.  If you want to paint graffiti art, buy your own building and have at it.

You might want to search famous artists who work with grafitti.  You will find a bunch.  It might help if you bring up their huge salary. It makes grafitti seem like more of a career.
