it is around 290-310 kms. Ooty to Bangalore - (Bangalore - mysore 150km, then to gudalur and ooty) there is a shorcut in between gudalur and ooty, which cut shorts the distance by 25-35km. Can be taken only before 8pm and that too in a good car. else they wont allow as it is completely forest area with wild animals. 7hrs max.

From kallatti to ooty bus stand is near about 12 to 15 kms, so banlore to ooty is around 278 kms via bandipur and madhumalai forest route, make sure not to travell after dark in the forest area if ur travelling by a car, if ur in a volvo bus then no problem, volvos go by gudalur route
