Nothing, "net" is short for "internet" and "web" means internet too.

But technically speaking

net - is a network(inter connected) machines (LAN)

web - is network of such networks.

Technically speaking a "net" is any group of computers which are interconnected.  Interconnected computers are said to be connected to a "network"  hence the shortened term "net"

Typically, the word "net" is used as a shortened version of "internet"

Most people think the internet and the world wide web "www" are the same.. however, their is a small difference.

Strictly speaking.. the internet is the name for the US network of Universities and government agencies  which are interconnected to exchange information.  The Internet actually started as an experiment in the 60s

When the internet was opened up to the public and later computers from other countries connected to it.. the internet then expanded into the World Wide Web.

However, the internet still exists as a bunch of dedicated high speed connections between Universities and the Government

If you're referring to "net" as the Internet, and "web" as the World Wide Web, nothing.  They're synonymous.

people have made short form of website as web.

website is a collection of web pages which gives us information about an organisation, a person etc.

a web page is an html document that is stored on a web server and has got a url(address) so that it can be accessed via web.
