Wat is the inverse phenomenon of photoelectric effect?

I suppose it would be a light bulb.  The reverse of using light to emit electrons is to use electrons to emit light.  At least that is one way of being "opposite" in this particular case.

I think it should be electro-photon effect that when electrons strike a metallic surface photons(light) should be emitted from it . I m not sure whether it practically happens or not

how did you get to this that there should be an inverse photoelectric effect , According to this electron should collide with photon & photon comes out from the metal surface but this can't happen since photons don't exist as electrons do , photons are formed when electron jumps from a higher energy level to a lower energy level emitting out a characteristic frequency  .
