  1. I think it has some thing to do with gear buggering off in to a alterate demension there are place around our planet that are juctions where time and space over lap and wierd things happen when conditions are right dont rightly know and not realy thought to much on it butt the lizzard base sounds cool. what evr happened to V I liked that show.

  2. I believe it's the magnetism thing. But who knows, it's kinda cool to have it unexplained and all these differing theories around. Good luck.

  3. There are several answers that I've heard of that sound plausible.

-There is a large amount of methane gas under the sea floor in the area of the Bermuda Triangle (this is a fact). If a large amount of methane comes up from the floor all at once, this can cause ships to lose buoyancy and sink (this has been tested and proven). Also, if a plane is surrounded by methane, the engine will stall. This is because the engine needs oxygen to operate properly (also tested and proven).

-A less tested theory is that the Bermuda triangle has a strange magnetic field, which means that compasses would change direction and ships and early planes could easily get lost.

-It has also been suggested that the Triangle is just an over publicized area of ship and plane wrecks. A statistical study showed that the triangle doesn't have that many more wrecks than other parts of the sea.

I think it is also possible that it is a combination of a few of these theories too.

  4. If you're going to write out a question regarding it, why not research it first?

Then if you have a theory about it, then post a question regarding it.

  5. I guess somehow on that point on Earth the magnetic forces are much more powerful.

  6. no one knows - hence the "mystery" of the bermuda triangle.

  7. YEAH, OF COURSE NO ONE KNOWS YET FOR SURE, mystery...

but some theories say that it's a big whirlpool, so ships get lost and destroyed there

  8. There is no mystery, boats and planes travel through there all the time without anything bad happening.

Sure planes and boats have been lost there in the past but not significantly more than they have been lost in the rest of the world.

  9. It seems mysterious to peopl, because a lot of boats and planes, would dissapear when they traveld to the Triangle. The boats, and people, weren't ever found (That we know of) so it baffles people. Because of the dissapearences many stories, and myths occured, for fun, or for an explenation. What really happened? Who knows.

  10. if we knew the answer to that then it wouldn't be a mystery

  11. It is just a myth. The oceans are huge and planes and ships get lost in them all. Nothing paranormal about it.

  12. Just a mith !

  13. I grew up obsessed with the mystery. It was a childhood dream to fly over the Triangle until something happened! I was very disillusioned when I began to realise how much of it was exaggerated and unfounded. The sad thing is that there is no mystery. It's one of the busiest shipping areas in the world and has lost a few planes and ships. It's that boring!

Some of the legends never even happened. It was the first time I realised that what's written in books isn't necessarily true. Nothing's happened since the 70s because the evidence is available to everyone and the bulls**ters can't lie without being found out. They've moved away to the alien conspiracies where there's no evidence that can expose them.

  14. Yup! You need to add more details to answer the question. the question is to wide.

  15. Well who ever goes there never returns. thats the mystery. Next time be more specific.

  16. Yeah, that's why it's a mystery, cause no one really knows... but I've heard people say they think it's a giant portal...
