  1. The categories are processed  and filtered.  Processed is the only safe one. The three brands of bottled water I know of that fit this category are: DASANI, Aquafina, And Sam's at Wal Mart.  There may be others  Read the labels to see if they are Reverse Osmosis or Distilled.  Both ar e good.

You can get a reverse Osmoses system from Home Depot or Lowe's and install it in your kitchen under the sink for cooking and drinking, also can be put on refrigerator for ice and drinking.  I just did.

You don't need to boil it if you use water from either of these processes.

Some say bottled water is just tap water the filtered type is about 70% falls in this category.  Distilled takes electricity to process and is becoming scarce to find.

I hope this helps you , good luck Remember me in picking the best answer.   Thank you.

  2. There are basically a few dillemas to address.

The first is that a lot of toxic things are in the water (ie Chlorine and especially Fluoride).

The second is that if the water is completely purified (ie. through distillation) the water will then leach minerals from the body (which at times can be fatal for a baby which only drinks it).

Unfortunately, some of the toxic compounds in the water are nearly impossible to get out any other way besides something close to distillation.

At the same time, many brands of bottled water actually aren't any better than municipal water (and often worse), despite what the brand labels claim.

All things equal, I think the best option is to get a good water filtration system installed at your house (such as activated charcoal or carbon block), and just use that.  I'm a fan of http://www.multipureco.com/, but there are plenty of other ones which sell things as well.

Also, if you are buying bottled water, boiling water is fairly pointless....the odds are very low pathogens will be in it.

    hope that helps!

  3. I'd buy SPRING water, it's very natural and safe and no need to boil. Distilled water pulls all the minerals out of your body so I don't think it's safe to drink. I'd stay away from that. Most bottled water comes from tap water, but SPRING water comes from natural springs and is very clean and safe to drink.

  4. distilled water

  5. The safest water would be steamed distilled water. The reason is because of the process used. Water is heated to form steam. This boils out all heavy metals and other unwanted particles. The steam is captured and then bottled. You can purchase it at most grocery stores in one gallon containers.

If you are concerned about contamination you can add Grapefruit Seed Extract to your water and this will kill any and all microbes that may be in it. Add one drop to a glass of water or two or three drops to a gallon. You can get this extract at most health stores that sell supplements. I use this product daily.

    Good health to you.
