Wat is your fav big jet - fav airliner?

Personally, although I prefer Boeing jets to airbus

my fav jet is the airbus A340-500!

love those 4 engines!

probably the best wide body ride was the L1011. the autopilot  system was very advanced for its time and gave a very smooth ride. the best narrow body was by far the B727 the airplane was built like a tank and performed like a fighter jet.

Always like the slogan "if it's not Boeing, I'm not going."  Nothing beat the 747 during it's heyday.  Have to go with the 777 nowadays.  From the cabin standpoint Boeing always made more logical sense to me than either McDonnell Douglas or Airbus aircraft.  Although having flown all of them over the course of 25 years in the industry I found there are just as many devotees to McD and AB as their are to Boeing.

I agree, I've always liked boeing more than airbus. My favorite has to be the concorde, though. You can't beat that.

yeah i agree. those 4 engines are for international flights. when a plane has 2 then it flies domestic. i love Qatar aircrafts. they're the leading aircraft nowadays. they were rated as 5 star aircrafts

umm In response to lychee, two engines does not indicate range. Anyway my favourite plane is a Boeing 757-200 or McDonnell Douglas MD-11

i would have to say the Boeing 747 was the largest commerical airliner till the A380, but the 747 has lots of curves and looks really cool, then non commerical is the Antonov An-225, the largest airplane built, 6 jet engines of raw power

I kind of have a bias for airbus, but the 777 is a freakin monster, I love it, especially the 300 series. I live near JFK and I can tell the sound of triple 7 with my eyes closed, the plane is just a badass, especially the Emirates
