  1. It is a class that you must pass in order to get a credit or credits toward your degree.

  2. my sister is taking classes at a community college to earn credits so she can be a sophmore instead of a freshmen, and all of the classes offer credits. but you have to see if they transfer(to the college you want to go to/if thats your plans) and yes there are exams

  3. When you take a class for a grade, that is what it means by a credit class.  You have to do all the assigned work and tests to earn credits.

  4. There are basically three types of classes:  Credit, Audit and Independent Study.

Credit classes give you credit and usually have tests.  Exact requirements will depend on your professor.  Attendance is usually mandatory.

Audit classes do not give you credit and may or may not have exams.  These classes are simply for your benefit.  Again, exams depend on your professor.

Independent study usually, you are on your own.  You get the syllabus and do the work without a lot of direction and attendance is not usually mandatory.  Again, exams depend on the professor.

  5. No there will be exams. They are required.

  6. They are college courses that you'll earn college credit for going to. There are tests as well. It is like a regular class, maybe a little bit more work. You need a certain amount of credits to earn college degrees, taking these courses will begin to help you.
