nd if i drink the pills kan i still drink other medicine??

because my moms frend is drinking this kind of pills that she kant drink any pills beside that or eslse she kan die from it..

Here's the problem with acai berry.  It's a pretty new product on the market.  It's main purpose is as an anti-oxidant and a pretty powerful one at that.  There hasn't been much research around it's weight loss properties.  We do know that it has numerous health benefits.  But then, coffee also has health benefits but it's not necessarily good for you.

    There have only been a few anecdotal claims that it helped weight loss.  

    Because of the lack of research we don't know what the side-effects are yet.

    Now people think it's natural and it is but it's not naturally occurring in your body.  Anytime you introduce something that isn't natural to the human body it can cause problems.

    As far as acai berry goes we don't know what those are yet.  We also don't know about drug interactions.  If you take a perfectly harmless pill and you're on a medicine that interacts with it, it could cause a reaction you don't want.

    What I do know is that all acai berry advertising is based on hype.  There is no scientific basis for any weight loss claims.

    What I'm saying is that you're probably wasting your money on it.  It may very well work but until I see more research I'd have to say stay away from it.
