What is with everyone suggesting chains? Except for Johnny Rocket's, why not jut go out to the burbs?

Rickshaw [both locations have secluded seating, but are cafeteria style] for delicious dumplings. Sammy's Noodles for cheap yet huge portions of Chinese food [with the added bonus of The Bean coffee shop right across and down the street for dessert & tea.] There's a great little Italian place in the village, not too far from Houston, Bianca's, I think? Of course, you could always go to Little Italy, for that matter…

Vynl, on 9th Ave, for an early dinner. Since they got their liqour licsence, they got yuppie-ish at night. The island-themed burger place just the other side of the street is fabulous, too, if it looks too mood-lighting for you.

Don't go to a Manhattan diner. Ever. They don't know what they're doing.

if it's moderately nice, like mid-50s or so, hit up Shake Shack in Madison Square Park [grab a seat at one of the tables under a heat lamp] and enjoy a light supper watching the squirrels beg.

And keep your ear to the  ground for promotions. IE: Right now it's restaurant week in Brooklyn, so for $46+tax&tip you could get a three-course meal for two at a nice place.

The Outback :D yummmmy, try the bloomin onion its amazing, its also cute because you get to share your hot bread and butter starter :D , then when the onion comes out you share that aswel, me and my boyfriend love it. Then find space for te amazing steak :D (much more to choose on the menu from steak!) ave a cute time :D x
