Depends however Oracle and Microsoft SQL are big ones. Mysql is a mid sized database for the great price of free if you are looking for a DB to use.

Depends on the size of the organization...MySql is pretty common, but not very relevant, as it is only used in smaller organizations that can only just-barely afford someone to run their database. (Note though, MySQL is popular in web-based businesses, large and small).

Oracle is the most relevant DB software out there. If you are going to get into DBA, Oracle knowledge is crucial.
