Wat shoold i do to sell the 1943 steel weat penny?

my name is joe and my grandpa has a 1943 steel weat penny

or something like that i got a picture of it and wen he was in arizona he sad he herd that thay wer giving a big amount of money for it but he didnt thingk it was the panny he had so he ask me to find out some stuff about it

but i cant seem to fined nuthing can some one give me some advise

  1. Don't bother. Steel pennies are worth about 15 cents. It's the 1943 COPPER pennies that are worth money. They minted most pennies in steel in 1943 due to the war, and very few were made in copper. That's why the copper ones are valuable and the steel ones are just above actual cent value.


  2. The 1943 steel wWheat pennies go for .10 - .25 cents depending on condition, they are still plentiful and that keeps the price down, if you find a copper one ho;ld on to it , that is the rarer if the two/
