Wat should I major in at college?

Before i begin please don't tell me to major in something I like..just tell what u think i should major in:

I want a job in which i can help people BUT not with finance just with person problems. I want something that is not liberal arts. I want job in which i get a good job with associates degree. and only take less than 5 years. I'm 19 now and by 24 i want a job and to be finish with school. i also like organizing things and helping people. ..but the job most be long lasting and I start off making at least 23 dollars a hour nothing under that!! So what job and major should i major in ?

Accounting major is the way to go. You can get a degree in 4 years or under depending on where you go and you can start out makind 45000 a year right out of college which is great in these days

Try it its not too hard and can make you alot of money if you become a CPA

How about a conselor or psychologist? You'll be  helping people, just think about it.

You want to start off making $23/hr with an associate's degree?  In my part of the country, those two things just don't add up.  Maybe after four or five years on the job you can work your way up to that level, but unless you get lucky you won't start off that high with an associate's degree.
