Wat staitistic measurement can use to measure the image in image processing?

i just discover that mean can measure brigthness, variance can measure contrast, can anyone tell me that max, min, median, or wat can be the measurement in image processing?

Pixel Measurement:

a pixel (picture element[1]) is the smallest piece of information in an image.

Essentially, the more bits (information) the higher the resolution and picture quality. There are sampling methods used to provide a means to assure image quality transferred from one standard to another.
