  1. Chinese Grilled Pork Chops

    1/2 cup spicy red pepper jelly, such as Tabasco's

    1/2 tsp. grated orange zest

    1/2 tsp. salt

    1/2 tsp. Chinese five spice powder

    6 pork loin rib chops, 3/4" thick, 3 lbs.

    Orange slices and parsley, optional

    Prepare grill for direct-heat cooking.  For glaze, in microwave-safe bowl, combine jelly and zest;  reserve.

    Combine salt and spice powder;  sprinkle over both sides of each chop.  Grill chops 6 minutes.  Meanwhile, microwave glaze on High in15-second intervals until melted.

    Turn chops;  brush with half of glaze.  Grill until no longer pink near bone, 6-8 minutes. Remove from grill;  brush other side with remaining glaze.  Garnish with orange slices and parsley, if desired.

    or if not serials -Weetabix they are really healthy

    and they dont have lots of fat in them

  4. Chili Con Carne!!!

    this is my secret recipie :)

    you need mince meat (as much as you like/want)

    tobasco sauce

    1/2 pint water

    chopped tomatoes (about 6) in sauce

    kidney beans

    sweetcorn

    Garlic

    two oxo cubes

    chili mix

    one bar of bournville choclate.

    First brown the mince throwing in the oxo and pouring on the tobasco.

    add the chopped tomatoes with sauce and throw it all in a boilin pot.

    heat the kidney beans slowly with the corn once done throw in the pot.

    fill jug with 1/2 pint of water add your chili mix maybe adding some cornflower for thickness now whisk it and throw into pot.

    crush and chop garlic throw into pot

    grate chocolate sprinkle into pot mix slowly and keep on a low burn should be ready within an hour and i garantee you will love it

    oh and i like o add extra hot chili mix its just better that way :)

  5. Good old fashioned cereal for dinner!!

  6. Get two or three Potatoes per Person depending on size of Spuds, wash them and put them on to Boil for Twenty Minutes.

    In the meantime get Salmon Steaks,  two per Person and put them under the Grill with some Olive Oil on them to stop them Burning,after 8 to 10 minutes turn them over and put some Fennel Seeds on top with a bit of Olive Oil on top and after about 8 to 10 minutes more Salmon is  Cooked.

    After the  Potatoes has been Cooking for 10 minutes put some chopped and washed Carrots with some Washed Long Beans into the Pot with the Potatoes together with some  Herbs and a bit  of Salt and Pepper for Taste, cook for another 10 minutes and Vegetables is done.

    Serve with a Nice Chardonnay,or Sauvingnon Blanc,or Sancerre. very nice.

    If you dont like Fish then Cook Chicken Pieces instead under the Grill with some Olive Oil  on top . Bon Appetit.

    egg and chips not that healthy but quick and easy

    cheese on toast with beans - easy peasy lemon squeezy

    homemade pitta pizzas with lots of veg

    Or bollox to the healthy bit - go and get yrself a takeaway - easiest one of all!

  13. new age lancashire hot pot yum:)  you will need 3 carrots, 2 leeks, 1 onion, 2 tablespoons worstersauce, 1 garlic clove, 1 cube chicken stock (Made up with boiling water to directions on box), 1 tablespoon tomato paste, chestnut mushrooms, cheese, lamb pieces , new  potatoes scrubbed. and a cassorole dish with lid.

    so easy! put worstersauce in with the lamb and crushed garlic in a separate bowl, mix and leave while you prepare rest.

    chop carrots, onion, leeks and mushrooms, then layer in cassorole dish, layer of onions, leeks, and carrots first, then layer of lamb and mushrooms repeat until all ingrediants used. Then slice potatoes thickly layering them on top of veg etc until covered. make stock, add tomato paste, stir and poor over potatoes etc in dish. add to preheated oven 180oc (electric) leave for 2 hours,20 mins before take out of oven, sprinkle on cheese put back in  turn up to 220oc without lid for remaining time. serve with bread.
