I would take them to a private place were no one would see us and I would say "its kind of hard to do this, you are a nice sweet person but I just dont think you are the person for me. Maybe we could be friends and you will accept that we dont belong together." Thats what I would say or you could think of something by yourself. Your choice just make the right one! And if you luv someone else you should go up to the person and say "Can I talk to you for a minute alone? I just wanted to know are you currently dating someone if so we can just be friends and if not we could be more than friends!" That is what I would say to the person I luv but you can say somethng else if you think of something! Hope you dont chicken out like I did once before!

I've sat down and explained to them my feelings, or lack there of.  One man flat out refused to listen to, hear or accept what I was saying.  It reached a point where I just couldn't take his phone calls anymore.  I blocked him on my phone, changed the places I hung out and stayed away from mutual acquaintances.  I don't feel bad though as I did everything in my power to be honest with him.  It's up to the other person to accept things for what they are.
