Wat would make a pepsi can explode?

i set 2 cans of pepsi on the floor of my dads truck 1 was tipping over so i held it up with my foot and it exploded. it left a hole in the can all the way down the side of the can. it was also a hot day id say high 80s

y did it explode

The HEAT. The can getting hot along with the movement caused the carbon dioxide gas (the bubbles) to go into overdrive. The pressure from this caused the can to explode.
