Right now. It's good.

At least the folks at History haven't gone COMPLETELY over to pop-culture and pseudoscience (Monster Hunters, various UFO and 2012 shows...)

  1. I like that show, and the history channel in general. But they are always showing this end of the world/apocalypse/nostradamus stuff.... it gets old.

  2. I watched some last night about guts. I was pretty good, I thought.

I don't normally watch the History channel (and seeing the previews for other shows in the commercials makes glad for that), but I do like when they show a program that actually makes sense, and has interviews with real scientists.

The Panda's Thumb (website, see source) seems to think it's good as well. That site is a great evolution info resource, and if they seem to like it, I take that as a good sign.

  3. AAAAH **** I missed it d**n!

oh well, did you see the first episode? Apparently they believe T-rex had canines......History Channels really going down hill with the whole conspiracy theory programs, UFOs, CRAPtozoology, paranoid apocalypse prophecies, and Ice Road F*ckers. But at least we actually get some real facts rather than c**p. (although I did enjoy watching "Life After People" despite it being another one of History Channel's paranoid crazy apocalypse scare programs)

  4. I love watching Monster Quest because they have to bend over backwards NOT to come to the conclusion that these things are false.  I giggle every time the narrator says something like "Scary monster hunters have a hard time accounting for the variety physical characteristics ascribed to the beast."
