Watch Jack all set for claiming the fourth win in a row through the Grade A1 480 metres flat at Hall Green
The Grade A1 480 metres flat will get staged at Hall Green over 480 metres on Wednesday, 18th April. Taking part in the race are Watch Jack, Cusco, Bernies Den, Killishin Lady, Greenwell Tank and Rock It Mourinho. The prize money for the race
is set at £145.
The most promising entry of the race is Watch Jack, Kinloch Brae’s two-year-old brindle son out of b***h, WatchFour Twiggy. His last three races have been successful and have made him accomplish a hat trick. Watch Jack has been active ten times during the
new season and out of those he has bagged four victories.
His seasonal debut was in a Grade A4 480 metres flat race at Hall Green on 14th January which was won by Mays Taos who timed the distance in 29.24 seconds. Caribbean Jet settled as the runner up while Dukes Onyx, the 2/1 favourite, parked on to
the third position.
He then remained winless in the next two races and then posted a victory on 3rd March through the Grade A4 Owners Bonus Series Heat 3 at Hall Green after clocking the track distance in 29.27 seconds. He led the runner up of the race, Loughbeag
Miley, by two and a half lengths.
Leaping for the third slot behind the winner was Marigold Echo and finishing the race right after her was the 11/4 favourite of the race, Catrionas Spark.
He then failed yet again in three more races, with a second, fourth and sixth position. As if compensating for the loss incurred, Watch Jack lined up three victories.
The Grade A4 480 metres flat at Hall Green turned out to be the first leg of the hat trick. On 26th March, Watch Jack completed the trip in 28.90 seconds while leading the runner up of the race, Colonel Cam, by 2 ¾ lengths. Colonel Cam took 29.12
seconds to settle the race.
Gneeves Pearl, the 5/2 favourite of the race, ended third in line behind the winner.
On 4th April, Watch Jack monopolised a Grade A3 480 metres flat race at Hall Green over 480 metres by reaching the other end of the wire in 30.18 seconds. The 3/1 joint favourite, Danny Doh, qualified as the runner up of the race after taking
30.36 seconds.
Watch Jack has all the chances of extending his hat trick today.
