Watching Movies From Limewire?

I am trying to download and watch the movie Rent from limewire. I downloaded it in avi format and mpg format. When I click on launch Quicktime says the movie could not be opened. I know nothing about limewire or anything, how do I watch it now that is downloaded? HELP!

download vlc media player,free download,just google it,it plays all formats

Dont use Quicktime because it will slow down the performance  of the video and definitly the quality isnt good...try playing the video in windwos media player and if windows media player doesnt play it then download a codec to play .avi format... =]

Try going to the folder where the movie was downloaded and double clicking the file there and see if that helps.

If you are trying to watch the movie within limewire that usually does not work to good.
