  1. My 15 year old son is going to be in the room when I give birth to twin boys. I haven't yet decided if I'm giving birth at home or at the hospital. Home probably. I think it's great that you are going to be there to support your mom.

You should sit at the foot of her birthing bed. You will probably want to see the baby crowning, get the first glimpse of your baby brother/sister.

If you get squeamish, you could always be sitting by her side, and encouraging her to push hard and holding her hand as she is in pain.

    Have fun and good luck!

  2. If  your mother is comfortable letting you watch the actual birth from down there then I guess it's ok. If not stand up by her head and offer her words of encouragement or old her hand.

  3. Hold her hand, and ask her permission before you peek between her legs. She might not want you to.

  4. Ask her where she is most comfortable having you stand. You're a brave boy! My son is 15 and he would probably pass out, LOL!

Oh and not to be gross, but sometimes women have a bowel movement while giving birth, just thought I'd warn you.
