I was wondering If anyone else has seen a creature die...or someone die in front of them and it made them think of a lot of things......My father and stepmom set poison traps or w/e to kill a rat a couple days ago and today my stepmom gets home from work and says "hey is that a rat in the bird shower"....and I looked and it was a rat sitting there...slowly dieing....she left about 5 minutes later to go work out....when she left I went outside stared at it and started to cry.for a little..I just looked at it thinking of alot of things..I went inside and went to the bathroom when I came back out it had fallen off the bird feeder and it was dead lying there.(the drop from the bird feeder isnt what killed it) it was as if it was sitting in the bird feeder waiting for help or wanting someone or something to know that it was there and lived a life with many events or differnent occasions...and it saw me crying for it and felt that I ackknowledged that..and then died......anyone else similar?

  1. ummm no i have not seen a creature die in front of me . srry it happened though  : ( .

  2. I had someone die in front of me once, when I was policing in Nacogdoches. Some old man. Not a pleasant thing to watch.

  3. I had a parakeet once who was sick, and the vet told me she would be ok. However she had lost all her feathers around her neck, and I had a feeling the vet just was just being optomistic. One night I saw the bird in her cage, and I knew she wasn't going to make it.  She was closing her eyes and looked as though she was going to fall off her perch. I had another bird in the cage as well, who wasn;t sick.  Well the time came where the sick one was on the floor of the cage, and she was spreading her wings. It was so strange, the other bird came down the small ladder in the cage, and began chirping at the sick bird as if to say, "Come on, get up; what's wrong?" He kept chirping at her and I was amazed.  Needless to say, she died there that night, but I knew she wouldnt make it. I felt awful knowing she was there dying.

  4. I've never had anything die in front of me but I've lost some family members and I have the same feeling though.  It's not a pleasant feeling.
