Watching satellite tv with Sling box pro?

if you have the slingbox pro, can you watch your satellite programing on your pc while someone else is watching another channel on the tv

only if the other channel on the tv is not a satellite channel, your slingbox will only watch whatever channel is on the satellite reciever, if someone changes the channel at the home satellite reciever manually, then the channel will also change for remote viewing.

The sling box just connects to the outputs of your satellite.  If you are on your computer and change the channel then the person at the tv gets changed also.  

The sling box is really neat because you can watch your dvr from anywhere with an internet connection.  I rarely ever watch live tv with the sling.
