  1. People can figure that out when they find no car in the driveway

  2. I never thought of that -- I can see it being a sign that a criminal would/could easily use

Ummm, Fireball, I think the poster means that it's a sign that no one is home, and that a criminal could take that as a sign no one is home and break in -- not that your door is transparent (what the heck???)

Malik -- there is no car in my driveway, but I am home .....

  3. What is a belinging?  I don't think it bothers anyone, like any other peice of paper on ones door.  You can choose not to read it and throw it away.  I have had dominos pizza and other pizza places leaving things on my door, not to mention other businesses in the area.  The tape on the glass can be hard to remove.

  4. no but its trespassing ..........

    my door isnt transparent

  5. It is littering and an invasion of privacy at the very least! I always throw them away (after tearing them up) so that they continue to waste their printing budget.

  6. It may be so.

A 'no soliciting' sign makes it trespassing.

and you never know who is at your door because the two witness rule allows an accused to work on:

  7. and littering too.

  8. I wouldn't think so because criminals themselves probably hide in their house when they see them coming so they probably have the same things in their doors even when they are home.....
