ok i need to know the water balance problems for freshwater fish in as detailed as possible i would like to say this is not homework i have been asked to teach a lesson on water balance but cant find anything freshwater fish thanks in advance :)

  1. The body fluid of a freshwater fish is hypertonic with respect to the environment. Water gets into the fish by osmosis. The fish has to remove the excess water through the kidneys.
