Water Polo!?

physically, what is best way to prepare for water polo season? (in highschool). I already am on the swim team so dont say swimming. what are the best workouts?

  1. Definately continue swimming but also do lots of leg work outs like squats and wall sits....  Do some of the dryland that your swim coaches make you do like situps and medicine ball work.  If you have a friend that will help get in a deep enough pool and have them push down on your shoulders and eggbeater or eggbeater with a medicine ball or with a weight belt.  Do push ups and be sure to stay in shape.  Good luck
