Question:

Water Valves?

Using the irritrol remote control system, my lawn can receive water at a scheduled time of the week. I've been using this for the past two years, but a week ago, the system stopped working. Valves 1, 2, 5 and 6 do not have water running through it, but 3 and 4 are working perfectly. I doubt it is the remote control's problem, so my question is: what is causing the lack of water for those particular valves? This happened suddenly, I'm certain no changes occurred from Monday (the first day of the week my lawn gets watered) to Thursday (the second day).

  1. The control system probably plugs into an electrical outlet.  Unplug it for 30 minutes or so.

There should also be a reset button.  Push it for 30 seconds or so.

Check around where the pipes are.  Was anyone using a shovel, planting flowers, hammering in a spike?  Pipe may be disconnected or cut from main pipe.

Does the remote control or control panel use batteries?  Maybe you need to replace batteries.
