Water blister questions

I work at the beach and i got a new pair of shoes then all of a sudden i got a big water blister on my feet my dad thinks it could br he shoes but how you get a blister. Then after i week my blister started to peel and left i big red hole there is no blood coming out of it just stings but what should i do and also where the water come from that makes it a water blister. thanks for answering

  1. Water blisters are caused by friction especially when you are breaking in a new pair of shoes. The bubble appears and it can pop by itself or you can pop it then it will leave a red spot like a rash, which burns. What I do is put a band aid over it when I wear shoes and when I am not wearing shoes I take off the band aid so it can get air and dry out. Also what works great is putting on a triple antibiotic on it (get it at Walgreen's over the counter) and then cover it with a band aid. It'll be gone in no time.  


  2. Yes blister is cause by friction. you would need to put some soft material at the area and use thich socks so that friction don't occur

  3. Usually you get wwater blisters from wearing new shoes.

    Happens to me all the time.

    Try not to pop the dang thing. ><
