Water bottle that was just opened has a funny taste to it .... taste nothing like water.

Water bottle that was just opened has a funny taste to it .... taste nothing like water. The bottle was frozen ( even though it was in fridge) and i went to drink it and it did not taste like water.... it has a salt/ iron taste to it. Does anyone know why. Remeber i just opened it so there was nothing put into it.

Try calling the number on the back and ask them. (:

Freezing water causes the plastic to expand around it, then when you melt the water the bottle contracts and leeches plastic resin into the water.  As a general rule, if water tastes funny throw it out.
