I have the same problem with Frigidaire Refrigerator FRS26ZGGW4. Water comes out the in the door water dispenser when the icemaker cycles on, and if I attempt to fill a glass with water from the dispenser, water also comes out into the icemaker weather it is making ice or not. Runs into the ice cube storage bin and freezes solid so it makes it hard to get ice out the door. I replaced the icemaker - can't do that wrong, it only goes in one way and will only plug into the harness one way. I replaced both the single valve on the freezer side and the dual valve on the refrigerator side. TWICE. Can't do that wrong, either as they are color coded. Anyway, I have swapped the lines and wires and it didn't stop the problem. Now, some body said there is a "DIODE" on the wiring harness before it plugs into the dual valve on the refrigerator side. I looked, and there is some sort of a small copper or metal colored little thing in the wiring harness covered with a clear flexible rubber cover to protect it. WHAT IS THIS THING AND HOW DO I GET ONE AND REPLACE MINE? It seems to be made into the wires. Thank you all in advance.
This fridge is one year old. Ive replaced the water valves, water line, diodes and wiring harness. Now, when the ice maker calls for water, water shoots out the water dispenser on the front of the freezer door. The amount is about 4-6 ozs. Frigidaire has said its a bad water valve but we just replaced that a week ago. Any ideas?
