  1. Don't automatically wash towels and sheets every day if the same person stays in the room for several days.  Have automatic water faucets that go off when you're not under them for sink and shower.  Only give ice water to people that want it, not everybody.

  2. hippos in the toilets! (or a brick). Everyone can do it. Which reminds me so should I!..............

  3. Most hotels I stay in now give you the option of not having your towels/sheets changed and washed every day.

Install low-flow shower heads and toilets.

  4. Connect into next doors mains?

  5. When I was in the Dominican, the tubs didn't have a plug so you couldn't take a bath, maybe they did it to save water. Although more water is probably wasted by ladies shaving their legs in the shower instead of the bath, that's what I did every day I was there for 2 weeks.
