Water damage to my phone?

well.on july 4th iaccidently kepy my phone in my pocket && jumped in the pool once I got out I relized it && my phone was damaged already..Ive waited it out && it still doesnt work..how can i get it to fixed??????????????

well i had the razr last year and i dropped it in the sink...but there was no water in it. it worked fine but then the next day the screen turned white and it wasnt working. i thought the phone had just broken and i forgot about dropping it into the sink so we took it to the verizon store and they said it had water damage and that i would end up having to get another one. of course, jumping into a pool is a lot different then dropping it in the sink and i know of people who have dropped their phone in the toilet and it still works. it all depends on the type of phone you have, so i would suggest taking it to the store where you got it and see if there is any way to fix it.

That happened to my friend, except she dropped it in the toilet.

your supposed to take the battery and sim card out(if you have one) and leave it open, while letting it set in the sun for a while.

it worked for her, but ionoo.

well, it depends on the phone company, my mom washed my phone and we got a new one for free....cause i was still under my 2 year contract......so it depends what company.....
