  1. The water is most dense at four degreee Celsius

    There fore the bottom is four degrees.


  2. The denser water will sink until it has reached a level where the surrounding water is at the same density.  In very deep lakes, the bottom is at 4oC, where water is at its densest.

  3. Denser water will sink until its temperature is equalized with its surroundings, which will occur at cotinually descending depths.
