my friend has a water dragon. hes usually pretty normal, but lately he's been laying in all kinds of weird positions. sometimes he likes to twist his body, other times half his body will be against the glass like hes sleeping while standing on his hind legs, currently (even as im typing this) he has half his body bent backward with his head touching his rear/tail base. i read that WD's are dinural, but he likes to sleep all day and play all night. Appetite is still the same, and of course he loves to be held or set free on the floor. but 95% of the time you have to wake him up to do anything....he's ok right? this has been going on for a little over 3 months now

  1. Well, it's hard to tell if this is normal or not without knowing a lot more about his setup.  They need really large cages with lots of hiding places as they stress easily and will rub their noses raw.  They need specific basking temperatures and UVB lighting.  I'd read over Tricia's care site and see if anything is missing...
