Water filter. Our water filter's LED light doesn't flash anymore. We replaced the filter one day

Our water filter's LED light doesn't flash anymore. We replaced the filter one day and the LED stayed on green and red at the same time for a few days, then quit all together. Does the filter still work? and how do we get the LED working again?
