Water freezes before getting to ice tray. HI, for some reason the water going into the ice cube

Question

HI, for some reason the water going into the ice cube tray seems to flow too long at times and this leaves water in the tube leading to the ice cube which then freezes. Any suggestions for correcting this problem? I usually take the ice maker out and remove the accumulated ice and dry it out and re-install it and it works for months but then the tube freezes again and I have to start all over.
