  1. if there is no water in the basement than he is correct

  2. Put a small drip tube where the water comes out and aim it away        from the foundation.

  3. You want me to contradict your husband?

    What if he finds out?

A little more info. would help.  I'm guessing you mean a window air condition since a central AC should not make puddles outside.

I would guess that a puddle is less than a pond but more than a cup.

If it is not washing a way the dirt then it is evaporating or absorbed.

If it makes you feel better put a bright orange sled under it.

Then  you will be the talk of the neighborhood.  : )

  4. idk but i think its alright!

  5. If it's central ac and the drain pipe is pvc then get a 90 degree connector and add another piece of pvc to redirect the flow away from the house. If it's a wall or window unit then put down one of those stones they use for gutter downspouts.

  6. tell, hubby to wait til cold weather comes and then say that!!!!water has a habbit of ruining things that you would never think of,wait til it works it way into the foundation this winter, freezes and starts cracking the foundation, does erosion come to mind?water can do alot more harm than what its given credit for.
