Water/ice dispenser not working

Question

We have an LG LRSC26941SB fridge. The water started trickling out slowly from the dispenser, so we figured it was time to replace the filter. We replaced the filter and the water worked for a while, then starting trickling out slowly, then stopped altogther. It also does not produce ice. We even tried to buy a different filter just in case with no luck. LG reps are no help
