Question:

Water in clothes dryer.

My washer did not properly run the rinse cycle; my daughter then placed the sopping wet clothes into the dryer. When we took the clothes out, there was water in the bottom of the dryer, which we soaked up with towels.

Is it still ok to use the dryer??

  1.       I assume your clothes are still wet. I would put them back in the washer and skip to the spin cycle and try again. the dryer should fine unless the element burned into ( I am assuming that it is electric ) . In any case try drying the clothes again. If they dried you are good to go. If not you will need a new element put in. Most likely you are OK. If the unit is gas, no worries.

  2. The interior drum is smaller in diameter than the exterior drum. The water is trapped between the two. I don't think you can hurt anything by running it, so empty the dryer and run it on high for several cycles to dry it out. Please tell your daughter this is not a swimming pool. Good luck.

  3. Let it dry for a night then you can use it again

  4. it happened to me but i still use it perfectly an it wworks
