It is a two year old KB home. I checked outside and there are no visual cracks. Is it possible it is seeping from the roof. I have a two story home.

All around the neighborhood there is not standing water at all!

  1. outside your home should be whats called a 'drain field'

this takes ground water and channels it

your may be running toward your house or you may not even have one

since your home is new check with neighbors to see if there is a problem anywhere else and also check with the builder

you may want to contact an engineer recommended by the county or community authorities where you live

There are products that can be bought

    to dry up basement walls

at local hardware stores or Home Depot

but you will need to use a dehumidifier to pull water from the area so you have dry surface to apply it

    try that first

and you can apply that several coats thick

if that fails try talking to neighbors builder and county

    Good luck!

  2. Leaking pipe?

  3. Call a professional QUICKLY -- a plumber should be able to find it and fix it before it causes more damage.  FOr insurance reasons -- and in case this is the fault of the builder -- getting a professional to diagnose and fix the problem  might be the smartest way to protect yourself and recover money from any damage the leak may cause.  Water damage can be very expensive to fix, and it gets much worse if you leave it (in addition to staining floors and walls, standing water allows mold and mildew to grow, which can actually be dangerous to people with more sensitive respiratory systems).

  4. Leaky pipe I bet.  Turn the water off at the street, call the builder.

  5. there are many possibilities ( What is KB home?)

you or someone will need to track the water to its source by looking at where water is and where it isn't

if you have an attic and/or basement, look there and around porches for signs of water.

if your house is built on a slab, check to see if there is currently a high water table, is your wet floor close to the water table?

is there a plumbing leak?, shut off interior water at main

you may want to get a professional in quickly if you can not stop it yourself; cost for repairs goes up quickly as more water comes in, although I would call your insurance too.
