  1. Any idea as to how many trees and spotted, speckled, six toes fleas would die to under take such an endeavor?

Come on get serious. Southern California is a natural desert. Human intervention made it livable, however, it is time to allow nature to resolve this problem once and for all. s***w Southern CA. They've ruined the environment of Southern CA with their homes and streets and shoppes long enough.

The lack of water is a sign. The Earth wanted water in the Midwest and not in CA. Shouldn't we listen to the Earth for once?

  2. It would be nice but the cost would be too much.Seems everything runs around money now days.

  3. may be ur suggestion is fine. i have not that idea about this sotage in CA.

  4. thats a great answer...and im all for it..but remember cali is full of enviro(mentals) and they may fight you since u would destry habitats along the way

    same with their blackout issues

  5. Reasons why that won't happen.

    1. Financial considerations, will cost way to much money

    2. Environmental impact, self explanitory

    3. Floods are unpredictable and an irregular occurrence.

Easier and cheeper solution would be to remove all those people who moved to California in the last 15 years thus creating the excessive demand on our limited water supply and sending them back to which ever state they came from.

  6. not a bad idea...just too idealistic :(

unfortunately digging a canal of 1000miles or so would take years and millions of dollars...so basically once it was done this will all be over.

the only thing we can really do to make an impact is to give aid to these regions to help them out

maybe someday we'll be able to change the weather, but for now i guess we just have to live with it...

  7. Eat locally. Grow your own garden if you have the space or container garden if you don't. California grows most of the fruits and veggies we eat in the US - that's why they "need" all the water. Apparently, the incredible amount of water they have already diverted from the Colorado River is not enough to keep feeding all of us.
