Water trickeling noise from the compressor area.

Question

I previously had LG model LFC255760 for 1.5 years and had it replaced last week with LFC25770. The old model never had this noise and now the new one has it every time the compressor runs, from the time it turns on to when it turns off. There is a place on one of the lines in the sealed system that has corrosion on it where it looks like it had been leaking and then corroded itself shut. Could this have let air into the system and is causing the noise? Could the system be low on freon?
