Waterfall/bus at monoa falls?

how big is the waterfall at moana falls during august?

i'm going to hike there on thursday, so i want to know what to expect.

and also, which bus goes to moana falls?

You'll have more luck looking for  M a n o a  Falls. "Moana" means ocean. "Manoa" is a valley, a stream, a neighborhood, and the location of the main campus of the University of Hawaii.

There's not a bus that goes all the way to the falls. You can take a bus near there--#5 I think-- and walk along the road a bit to walk to the trailhead. Shoots, I forgot to bring bus fare and had to walk back to Manoa from a hike in that area once, but walking back, I found a $20 bill!

August is height of the dry season, and while Manoa Falls is fed by mauka streams that tend to get rain even in the summer, yeah, it will probably mean a skinnier falls, but the journey is just as important as the destination, and the journey to Manoa Falls is slippery when wet!
