Waterproof Mascara? Anyone?

So I've recently purchased a tube of waterproof mascara after using the plain kind for years (I was tired of the leaky tears after swimming!!). I find it very difficult to take off? Any tips for a clean face? THANKS!

put lotion where the mascara didn't come off and then just wipe off the black with toilet paper or a wash cloth.

Dont use the waterproof stuff.  It damages your eyes when you spend a half hour trying to take it off.  I use Covergirl LashBlast. I've cried with it on and it doesnt smudge one bit.  I assume that means you can swim with it on too.  It makes your eyes look great too!  The great thing about it is that a wet washcloth gets it off easily!!!!!  Hope this is what you were looking for! Try Mabbeline WATERPROOF Mascara. It works SO well, and it's easy to get off if you are trying to. Get Netrogena makeup remover in the blue bottle. It says for taking off mascara and waterproof mascara right on the front.

i had that problem 2. then i used the cover girl lash exact waterproof. No trouble getting in off!

try some face cleaner. put it all over your face. and keep your eyes closed so it doesnt get in your eyes. just rub it on your eyes. this is what works for me. good luck!

make up remover...u wanna get a mascara wand from ur last mascara clean it up and then dip the wand into the makeup remover solution and apply it heavily to ur lashes...wait a minute or 2 and then wipe off and apply the remover again and then wash off...that is how i do mine at least lol...it works well and it doesnt agitate the eyes as much as rubbing and rubbing to get it off with the remover...i really like lancome and diors makeup removers...they remove waterproof mascara really well...vasaline lotion works well too if u cant afford it.

Vaseline will take it right off.  Just out some vaseline on your eyelashes with your fingers than use toilet paper, a washcloth or a paper towel or something to take the vaseline off, and the mascara will come off too.

The best waterproof mascara I've used is Maybelline's Great Lash Waterproof Mascara&&the best waterproof eye make-up remover I think is Maybelline's Expert Eyes 100% Oil Free Eye Make-Up Remover.

maybe you should try a good makeup remover, it doesnt have to be expensive but try using like the cream kind instead of the oily kind it works for me!

there are several ways

1. make up remover

2. get some cream and a nice soft cloth and remove ur make up

3.vaseline the same as cream

4.soap and water and clean it but then so ur face can stay soft put some kind of cream on ur face...so it will help u...

what ever u do dont leave r make up over night cuz ur eyelashes could get messed up and per say if u were eyeshadow the makeup will sink into ur skin and u will look dead when ever u dont wear make up

My mom gave me a bottle of Mary Kay Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover. This works pretty well for getting mascara,  , etc. off of your face. She also gave me a bag of cosmetic cotton pads. What you do is put some drops of the Makeup Remover on the pad and rub it gently on your eyes. Then you get a cold washcloth and wipe your eyes off. My mom said to always use cold water not warm. This works pretty well for me try it. I hope this helps and works for you as well as it did for me.

well u really shouldnt wear waterproof mascara bc its hard 2 get off and is tough on ur lashes so really u should only wear it wen ur swimming

Great lash mascara is really strong and stays on well so does clinique high impact waterproof. I love them both.

Well, just don't wear make-up when you swim!

but if you want to remove it, but Clinique's eye make-up solvent. That's what i use and it works great.

You should try the company

Neutrogena.

I use it and i also have waterproof mascara. I love this company and it gets the mascara off so good! It leaves nothing left of it! I just love it.

Use eye make up remover and a cotton ball.

A word of advice: Because waterproof mascara is so hard to get out, it sometimes causes your eyelashes to fall out! So be careful, and try not to wear it everyday if you don't have to.

Purchase some eye-makeup remover and scrub. Waterproof takes forever to get off. Sometimes it helps to get most of it off at night and get the little bits left in the morning.
