Waterproof cover?

Ok, we're getting one of those big, above ground pools for the summer as a place to just relax and cool off from the 100 degree weather and i really want to just float around and read a book or listen to my ipod, but knowing me, i will accidently drop them into the pool. Do you know if there are any book or ipod covers that i can purchase that are waterproof and would prevent them from getting ruined??? please help!
